Associate Application Analyst

See yourself accurately analyzing, writing, changing and testing programs on the iSeries and Client Server network in a manufacturing environment. Envision solving problems that are referred from the Client Service Center as well as participating as a Team member on a tactical development project.
Primary Functions
- Perform unit and system testing of new and modified programs to ensure they work correctly
- Perform application analysis and estimates for small to medium projects (40-100 hours)
- Write, test, analyze, and modify programs within a manufacturing environment
- Solve problems referred from client services
Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively: providing the required feedback to clients regarding problems referred from client services
- Timely follow through: effectively and efficiently complete duties and projects within specified time period
- Drives change: research different ways to write new computer programs according to new program specifications
- Increase skill sets: enhance one’s professional skills by learning the I.T development methodology as well as the application software environment
- Inspire employees: motivate other team members to continually improve, become more innovative, and prevent errors through out the company
- Time management: organize and utilize time effectively to allow for completion of projects and duties and attendance in meetings all within the specified date and time.
Training
Your initial training will include Continual Improvement Process training which will provide a common language and understanding of our commitment to meeting agreed-upon customer expectations 100% of the time. You will also receive New Hire Orientation which will provide an introduction to:
