Believe it or not, there is such a thing as healthy snacking.

Snacking is actually a great technique to stave off hunger in between meals and to re-fuel.

Including protein as part of your snack is a great technique to keep you satisfied until your next meal.

Some snacking ideas include:

  • 1 oz. low-fat mozzarella cheese stick 5 five whole grain crackers
  • Small serving of yogurt and granola with nuts
  • Handful of whole wheat pita baked pita chips and hummus
  • A couple slices of JENNIE-O TURKEY STORE® deli turkey wrapped around whole  grain breadsticks
  • Low-fat cottage cheese and your favorite fresh fruit
  • A slice of whole wheat peanut butter toast with raisins
