Comments about JENNIE-O® Savory Roast Turkey Breast Tenderloin
I purchased this expecting something similar to the frozen oven ready turkey breast. I was excited and planned a nice meal for my wife and daughter, and even recommended we invite my son and his wife and daughter over. We made it a nice meal, potatoes, veggie and fresh bread. Instead I got turkey breasts that tasted and smelled very similar to your common turkey hot dog. It did not smell like turkey or taste like turkey other than the texture. I wasn't alone, normally with the frozen oven ready turkey my family can't have enough. In this case with the Savory Roast Turkey, we had a lot left over. If you're looking for a nice meal, I would not recommend this, unless your hungry for hot dogs. Otherwise I'd recommend getting their Frozen oven ready turkey breast instead.

Comments about JENNIE-O® Savory Roast Turkey Breast Tenderloin
I previously had not paid much attention to the ingredients added to my purchased food. Today, like many people, I look at every product's ingredients. The turkey tenderloin was delicious, but when purchased, I could not read the ingredients online from the store where I bought it. I assumed it would be just turkey. I was unaware of its ingredients until I reviewed them when I went to repurchase it. I went off from the store's website and researched the ingredients and nutrition label. I will not repurchase it because of the addition of a small percentage of the following items that I looked up: Potassium Lactate (chemical added), dextrose and cultured dextrose (simple sugar from corn or wheat), Sodium Diacetate (an industrial manufactured chemical). Chemicals? People are wise to the processing of our foods today. Who wants to put more chemicals in our bodies as our liver works so hard to remove toxins? Manufacturers, please, there has to be a better way. I recognize that a certain percentage of some ingredients are allowed. But adding man-made chemicals should be outlawed, in my opinion. Anything manufactured by man and not a whole food, I am not interested in adding to my food intake. I appreciate you listening to me as a consumer.

I'm generally not a fan of prepared seasoning on foods. But this turkey roast is spot-on in flavor. I put it in a ceramic roaster in my toaster oven on convection at 350 for 55 minutes and got the right internal temp. Meanwhile, the turkey was roasted properly, had some broth for gravy and was moist and delicious. Some stuffing and cranberry sauce and green beans, and it was a very satisfying dinner. The turkey reheated without that "gamey" taste turkey has sometimes. For a family of three or four, a turkey dinner with no waste. If you are single, you can have turkey and leftovers but not be eating turkey for weeks. I will be rebuying this.
Thought this was a pork loin, was upset when I found out it was turkey, but it was already thawed so I tried it. Cooked over indirect heat using charcoal grill. This turned out to be a family favorite. Extremely tender, juicy, and flavorful. The kids absolutely loved it. Will buy again and again. Hard to find health conscious food that tastes so good.
