cloves garlic, chopped

large sweet onion, peeled and thinly sliced

Preheat a nonstick skillet or electric griddle over medium heat (375°F.). Heat slices of bacon for 6-7 minutes or until desired crispness, turning frequently. For crispier bacon; Lightly spray skillet with nonstick cooking spray before heating bacon. Always cook to well-done. Set aside.

Shape turkey into 4 patties. Prepare grill for medium heat. Grill burgers 14 to 16 minutes per side turning three times. Always cook to well-done, 165°F. as measured by a meat thermometer.

In skillet, over medium heat add butter, garlic, onion and whiskey. Cook onions 8 minutes or until brown and caramelized.

On bun bottom, spread barbeque sauce, add turkey burger, cheese, bacon and onion mixture. Add bun top.
