slices JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon
4
tablespoons butter, melted
1
teaspoon salt
1/2
teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2
pounds green beans, trimmed and blanched
1/4
cup packed light brown sugar
1.
Heat an oven to 350°F. Line large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
2,
In large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon in batches 4 to 6 minutes or until the slices are just beginning to brown along the edges but are still pliable. Transfer to paper towel-lined plate. Cut each slice in half.
3.
In small bowl, whisk together butter, salt and garlic powder.
4.
Divide green beans into 16 equal portions, about 6 beans each. Gather each portion into a bunch and wrap half slice of bacon around the center to hold the beans together. Place the bundles on the prepared baking sheet with the loose ends of the bacon underneath. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the bundles and drizzle with the butter mixture.
5.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until the bacon is cooked through and browned. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes. Transfer the green bean bundles to a warmed platter and serve immediately.
